Globalization, outsourcing, and world-flattening advances in technology continue to rock the software industry in ways that will significantly alter the way that technologists do business.
Carnegie Mellon West, U.C. Berkeley’s Fisher IT Center at the Haas School of Business, and the U.C. Berkeley Services: Science, Management, and Engineering Program have joined together to host an outstanding conference that will bring together thought leaders from academe and industry to explore and discuss the future of the software industry. The conference, The New Software Industry: Forces at Play, Business in Motion, will offer a framework for the future of the software industry and pointers for creators, investors, and customers on where the best opportunities will be found.
