VC OUTLOOK 2006: LOOKING DOWN THE MONEY TRAIL
Title: VC Outlook 2006: Looking Down the Money Trail
Location: Fenwick & West, LLP, 801 California St., Mountain View, California 94041
Start Date/Time: 01.24.06, 6:30 PM
End Date/Time: 01.24.06, 9:00 PM
According to the latest MoneyTree Survey*, "total venture capital investment in calendar 2005 could meet or exceed 2002's $21.7 billion, which is the highest level in the prior three years". A sign of continued strength in the technology sector? What will this portend for 2006? More importantly, what sectors are getting VC attention?
In our first event of the year, we bring together a panel of distinguished venture capitalists, and ask them to examine the investment landscape and look into their crystal balls. Where will VCs likely put their money in 2006? What sectors are hot? What sectors will likely be avoided? Will social networking justify the attention it's been getting? Will China be the next bubble? What recommendations are there for the early stage venture or entrepreneur?
Join us for an informative and insightful evening as we kick off 2006 to an auspicious start.
