Degree Programs  Carnegie Mellon West’s graduate programs are designed to deliver immediate benefits to both the individual student and his or her company.  The project-centered and team-based curriculum, the learn-by-doing teaching method, and the individual coaching and mentoring by faculty members who have both academic and industry experience will enable your employees to become immediately more productive at the workplace.  In addition, our flexible schedule and web-based curriculum ensures that students are able to conveniently fit their coursework around their work schedules.  For details about our information sessions, visit:  http://west.cmu.edu/prospective_students/info_sessions

Practicums  As part of our curriculum, students can participate in practicums sponsored by corporate clients.  Student teams work with industry clients, under the direction of a faculty member, on real-world software engineering or software management projects.  If you need short-term assistance, consider taking advantage of smart, highly motivated graduate students who are anxious to apply their work and academic experiences to current software business problems.  Contact:  MS Software Management Program:  Gladys Mercier; gladys.mercier@west.cmu.edu.  MS Software Engineering Program:  Ed Katz; ed.katz@west.cmu.edu.
