Brief History Since Last Comprehensive Evaluation: November 19, 2003: To accept the Periodic Review Report and to reaffirm accreditation. To remind the institution that a site visit to the additional location in Athens, Greece, (originally scheduled for fall 2003), will be conducted in spring 2004. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2007-08.
June 17, 2004: (Substantive Change Committee) To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request submitted by Carnegie Mellon University, and to include the contractual agreement with iCarnegie for the delivery of the Master of Science in Information Technology - Software Design and Management (MSIT-SDM) degree program via distance learning format and at local sites, within the scope of the institution(s accreditation; to request that the institution inform the Commission as soon as local delivery sites for the MSIT-SDM program have been confirmed, with a timeline for site implementation. Selected local delivery sites will be visited within six months of implementation. The next evaluation is scheduled for 2007-2008.

To advise the institution that the Commission reserves the right to delay or cancel a visit because of travel warnings, or if it otherwise determines that security considerations could affect the safety of its staff or evaluators. To remind the institution to inform the Commission as soon as local delivery sites for the MSIT-SDM program, in partnership with iCarnegie, have been confirmed, with a timeline for site implementation. Selected local delivery sites will be visited within six months of implementation. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2007-2008.

To remind the institution that a site visit will be conducted at Carnegie Mellon in Qatar, branch campus, in spring 2005. The institution is advised that the Commission reserves the right to delay or cancel a visit because of travel warnings, or if it otherwise determines that security considerations could affect the safety of its staff or evaluators. The institution is also reminded to inform the Commission as soon as local delivery sites for the MSIT-SDM program, in partnership with iCarnegie, have been confirmed, with a timeline for site implementation. April 19, 2005: Staff acted, in light of continuing travel restrictions, to postpone the visit to the Carnegie Mellon branch campus in Qatar, originally scheduled for spring 2005.
June 15, 2005: To acknowledge receipt of the substantive change request submitted by Carnegie Mellon University; to include the additional location in Adelaide, Australia, within the scope of the institution's accreditation; and to direct a visit by December 2006. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2007-2008.
